Oliver! starts on the 8th July. I make that a week and a half away.
I’m starting to have weird feelings about Am Dram but oddly enough I enjoyed our last rehearsal.

I’m starting to have weird feelings about Am Dram but oddly enough I enjoyed our last rehearsal.
Friday night saw us all in the Swan Studio for the first proper rehearsal for the FOST show.
I’ve been introduced to Jason Robert Brown’s work, accompanying Worcester Tech’s final year show, Songs For A New World. I really like it. It took a while though.
For years, I’ve been fascinated by hypnosis. Back from when I was a kid, I was always curious, possibly since reading The Demon Headmaster. I did that NLP course last year, and that really begin to hone, to polish my curiosity. A nose around the internet in the West Midlands area, and I found Jennie’s website. And so it started…

First of all. Sorry my avatar piccy and name appear to have disappeared - I have not sorted that out yet. To clear any confusion in the meantime I would suggest that any highbrow entries (most likely with Mat’s name and piccy of piano keys next to it) belong to Mat.

Its been AGES since I’ve written on here. I blame Facebook. Not that being on Facebook has prevented me from writing directly, its just that I used to get on the PC on a regular basis in order to check Facebook/play Facebook chess. Its lost its charm somewhat and so I seem to be on the PC less.
You could also argue that I’ve been busy.
So what have I been up to?

So it’s the weirdest casting out; Anita Dobson and Darren Day. Alright, whatever. Let’s give them a fair chance…
It was with suspicion that we approached the Malvern Theatre that night. Last time we saw Darren Day, it was on video, in a badly cut version of Summer Holiday. Last time we saw Mrs. Brian May, she was in Eastenders. Last time we saw Hello Dolly, Ms. Streisand blew the screen away with the definitive performance that just can’t be matched, surely?
A fascinating rendition of The Magic Flute. The second half of our really wonderful day down in London saw us over at the Duke of York Theatre. We’d just come out of Lord of the Rings, which is quite a long show. We were back on the streets about 6pm, and simply walked from Drury Lane down to the theatre, letting us get there about 6.45pm (we get lost easily!). Bought a couple of drinks for the interval, then into the auditorium.
